?As a Christian mom, do you feel like you're drowning and overwhelm? In this video, I'm sharing a simple five. Word prayer from Psalms that will be an anchor for your soul. You need to hear this because you were not made to live buried under all the weight of your overwhelm. ?Let's be honest, maybe you just got a text about a forgotten science project due tomorrow. Or your middle schooler feels distant and withdrawn, your mind starts racing and you feel lost. There is a phrase from the Bible that can gently pull you out of this chaos. It is not a magic formula, but a prayer that points to a deeper truth that will put your feet on solid ground. Stay with me because this has the power to truly reshape. Your day. That feeling of drowning in circumstances. You see, it's not new. The Bible describes it with such understanding the psalmist David knew this feeling intimately. He called it. Being at the end of the earth with a faint and overwhelmed heart, it's so much more than a bad mood, isn't it? It's that heavy feeling where you feel like you're being buried by the weight of your life impacting your mental health, and you don't know how you can take one more. Step. This feeling is a gentle reminder of our deep need for God's grace and points to the separation from him that can leave us feeling spiritually lost as missionary. Five words. So who is the rock? The Bible joyfully makes it clear in its Bible verses that the rock is Jesus Christ. He is the place of complete safety and stability, offering a foundation of hope That is. So much higher and more peaceful than our swirling emotions and chaos. The great preacher Charles Spurgeon, put it this way, God in Christ is a glorious rock firm. And secure always. The ultimate answer isn't just a prayer, but the person the prayer leads us to. The Apostle Paul beautifully defines his ultimate answer in the gospel. In one Corinthians 15, he says, the good news is that Christ died for our sins. He was buried and he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures. Think about it with me. Christ took our ultimate overwhelm, the sin of the entire world out of his great love for us. He died on the cross. So when you feel buried by your circumstances, remember that he was literally. Buried lovingly taking all our sin and failure with him.
