You know that feeling, that deep, quiet weariness that shows up at the end of the day when everything slows down, but your thoughts don't. Maybe it's the echo of a hard conversation, the weight of everything still undone, or just a silent question rising up from your heart. Lord, where are you in this? You love your kids, you love the Lord, but you feel stretched thin and maybe even a little distant from the Lord, and underneath it all, there's a deep concern. You think, am I okay with God? If that's where you are today, you are not alone, and more importantly, you are not without direction because the answer isn't more effort. It's not another system, it's truth. Today, I want to walk you through six short, steady truths from Psalm 15, not as a checklist, but as anchors for your heart. Psalm 15 begins with a question, Lord. Who made well with you? That's really the question behind your exhaustion too, isn't it? God, can I still be close to you? Even like this, we often think closeness with God depends on how well we are doing. But the gospel tells a different story. Christ died for your sin. He was buried and he rose. Again. That means your access to God was never based on your performance. It was secured by Jesus. So when the question rises, do I belong? The answer is yes. Not because you were perfect today, but because Jesus was. Maybe your struggle sounds like this. I'm just not enough, not patient enough, not consistent enough, not spiritual enough. Psalm 15 talks about a blameless life, but it also says who speaks truth from the heart. God isn't asking you to pretend He's inviting you to be honest, to come to him and say, Lord, I'm tired. I need you. That kind of prayer. That's not failure. That's faith because the gospel means that you don't have to hide. Christ already paid for what you are afraid to admit. If you are raising a middle schooler, you know how powerful words are, the things they hear, the things they say, the things they believe. Because of both Psalm 15 reminds us words aren't just behavior. They reveal the heart. And that's actually good news because instead of trying to fix every word your child says, you can go deeper. You can help them see, only God can change the heart and through Christ he does. If you've ever prayed, Lord. Please make my child strong. Psalm 15 ends with a promise they will never be shaken. Not because life is easy, but because their life is built on something steady, and that's something is the gospel Christ's death. Christ Burial Christ Resurrection. That is the most unshakeable reality there is. And here's the piece you need today. You are not responsible for holding your child together. God is, let's be honest, there are moments in motherhood where you think. I just told my child not to do that, and I did the same thing. That gap between who you want to be and who you are is evident. That's where Grace meets you. Jesus lived with perfect integrity and he didn't just model it, he gave it to you. So instead of pretending you can repent, you can say, I was wrong. I need Jesus too. That kind of honesty doesn't weaken your parenting. It strengthens it. Sometimes it all just feels confusing. How do I lead my child when I feel so unsure myself? Psalm 15 gives you a picture of a steady life, and the gospel gives you the strength to walk in it. You don't have to figure everything out. You just need to return again and again to what is true. God's word is clear. Christ is sufficient, and the spirit is faithful. If this episode is meeting you right where you are, I want to give you something practical to help you take the next step. It is a free five day Psalm 15 Bible study, and it's designed specifically.
