Welcome to the Faith Mom Mentor. Let's start with something steady and true. When God's word is lived out at home, it leaves a mark that lasts for generations. Here are some thoughts for you to consider today. God has never asked you to grow the fruit. He asked you to plant water and trust him with the harvest.

That distinction brings peace. Psalm gives us a picture of a person who delights in God's words, someone who meditates on it day and night. That person is described as a tree planted by streams of water, not rushing, not striving. Simply rooted. And the promise is clear that tree bears fruit in its season.

Here's a quiet but powerful thought. For you to hold on to. Fruit appears because roots are already there. In Deuteronomy four, God speaks about teaching his words carefully, not just formally, but relationally. He talks about remembering what God has. Done what God has put in your heart and making sure that the next generation hears it, that tells us something important.

Faith was never meant to be hidden or complicated. It was meant to be spoken, remembered, and shared. Daily life. Every time God's word is read aloud in your home, every time his ways are talked about naturally you are doing exactly what he asks, that obedience has power. What if the most important thing your children learn is not how to perform, but.

Who God is. That's where Proverbs 31 quietly points us. It doesn't praise a woman for controlling outcomes. It praises her because she fears the Lord, and that fear, that reverence, that trust, that honor, that respect, that love for God shapes that. Atmosphere of her home. Her children rise up and speak well of her because they witnessed faith lived out with consistency.

Okay. Jesus taught about the parable of the Sower to help us understand something vital. The seed is powerful. The word of God always carries life. The difference is the soil. Some soil is crowded, some is distracted, some is shallow, and. Some is ready. Your role is not to control the soil of the heart, but to create an environment where good soil is possible, and that happens when God's word is present.

Prayer is practiced, faith is spoken with joy and trust in God is visible. That that environment allows this. Seed to take root. Let's look at another point, Jesus. Jesus also reminded us that the Lord of the harvest is God himself. That means the growth does not rest on your shoulders. You plant in hope, you water. In faith, you trust God with the timing. That trust frees you to enjoy the work. Scripture tells us the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control.

These are not future goals. They are evidence of God's spirit. Already at work when your home carries peace instead of panic. And when your joy shows up in ordinary moments, when kindness shapes conversations, your children are hearing faith before they ever speak it. They are learning what it looks like to walk with God.

So I want to encourage you today, keep establishing what God asks you to establish His word, his ways, his goodness. Leave the results to him. Trees don't strain to grow fruit. They stay rooted and in time fruit comes God. God is faithful to finish what he begins. And the work you are doing today is shaping tomorrow by his power.
